Congress Park

Took the grandkids to Congress Park today, which is in the center of Saratoga Springs. The park dates to the 1870's, & has a lot of great fountains, statues, ponds, friendly ducks, huge old oak trees, & drinking faucets that constantly run with water from the springs that gave the area it's name. I wouldn't try the spring water but the girls did & pronounced it "really icky!" This is the World War Memorial, dedicated in 1931.
