Tales of the Riverbank 3

I think this is a juvenile moorhen? I'm sure you blippers will correct me if I'm wrong :)

I was so excited to spot this on the way home from my morning walk:)

Every day this week whilst walking I've heard their call, but never seen them and today I spotted a pair, not once but twice...not sure if they are the same pair of juveniles or not as in different places?

Had to zoom quite a way to capture it, and although I got several shots, this was the best one...

Apologies for the serious lack of replying and commenting! I hope to catch up a little at the weekend, though I am out all day tomorrow on a course at church :)

Hoping to walk all the way there (about 30 minutes) rather than pay 7 pounds (or maybe more) to park in the town for the day.... I'll get a taxi home which will be cheaper than that!
