Pollard Park Trees

Here we go again…. Another Mono Monday. The subject being “trees”, I had fun photographing trees of all shapes and sizes whilst walking the dogs. Not satisfied with those images, I drove over to Pollard Park late in the morning. There are magnificent trees in the park and adjoining Waterlea Gardens. Of course they look wonderful at this time of the year in their naked glory. Years ago I used to think that wintertime was pretty boring with bleak landscapes and not too much colour. Not these days though….. I am in love with winter trees…their shapes, form, the way the light falls on them…they are marvelous subjects for photography. So thank you to Gingernan for selecting this week’s subject and for hosting Mono Monday.
