Summer sketching outings

The first of our summer sketching outings today on this very beautiful day up above Oxspring. I chose this view looking towards Oxspring while the others opted for the pattern of field boundaries above Oxspring. We lunched by the medieval packhorse bridge (in the shade) and then made our way via the Penistone St John's Centre for a comfort break (and where I fell for a carpet runner for the upstairs corridor) to High Royd - the wind-farm spot and the highest in the area. They were wowed by the views. So two sketches for me - I think a few more for some of my colleagues.
