Noticing the small things
This morning Thomas set off to go downhill biking, while Adam stayed in the apartment to work on his extended project for his university application and Luke caught up on some reading of German literature. Gavin and I (and of course Murdoch had) a lovely walk from the top of the mountain - took the gondola up - all the way back to the village. Today it was about noticing the small things, and despite the beauty of the huge mountains around us I concentrated on the butterflies and flowers - some more photos here.
After lunch all the boys played golf, including Thomas. It was another perfect day with blue skies and rather hot - by the late afternoon there was not a cloud in the sky, just bright blue skies. After golf Gavin and I had a short cycle ride while the boys swam, and now I am tired and going to have a quiet evening reading my book.
