Under My Instruction

We got away from it all the city hubbub this morning when we took the bikes north to Kinross and had a canty tootle round Loch Leven on the heritage trail.

The last time we did this, the path ended at Vane Farm and the only access back to Kinross was on the road. However the trail has been extended to continue back to the pier at Kinross giving a 12 mile loop without putting a wheel on any public road.
A wonderful cycle in the sun along the water's edge, through shady woods and then through farmland on a path bordered with a profusion of wild flowers.
A day for the memory banks.

Five years' worth of blips,eh? How did that happen? Five years worth of books not read, craft work not finished, art work not attempted, socialising curtailed and housework neglected....and all because of being a blip junkie.

Having eschewed alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, and drugs of any form during my life time, at an age when I should know better, I have slipped into an addiction almost as compelling and every bit as hard to control, but oh so enjoyable.
Isn't that what all addicts say?
