Choices, Choices

Following the demise of New Lucy last week today was the day to welcome a lucky new arrival into the K household.
We had a lazy morning vaguely unpacking the camping stuff, tidying up a bit, catching up on Blip, playing on the Wii and doing crazy shows in the garden.
Lunch was pasta and cheese because that was all I could find in the house to eat and then we headed off to the Garden Centre to buy fish.
On the day we bought Old Lucy and Libra Miss L was a little devil and I said she has been too naughty to get a new fish so they were both Miss E's.
Today I said that she could choose one and she was over the moon.
It took ages for them to choose. It wasn't helped by the fact that after agonising for what felt like hours when the man finally turned up to get them out for us he said they couldn't have the ones they'd settled on as they were tropical ones. Back to square one and a few more hours staring at fish tanks!
But eventually the choice was made - New New Lucy for Miss E - exactly the same as the other two Lucies (because that's worked out so well!!!!) and Barbara for Miss L - a very cute little zebra fish.
So now New New Lucy, Barbara and Libra are happily swimming about in the tank together.
Oh look Libra and New New Lucy are having a lovely game of chase said Miss E a few minutes after we'd released them into the tank. Eek!
Miss L was due to have her first taster session at gymnastics this evening and was beside herself with excitement.
Unfortunately about five minutes before we got there she complained that her tummy hurt and then threw up all over the car.
Yuck.
I am so terrible at dealing with vomit. I've been very lucky and can count on one hand how often the Little Misses have been sick.
I pulled over, stripped her off, used her clothes to clean the car a bit and carried on to gymnastics.
Trying not to breathe!
Apart from the fact she was in her knickers I didn't think gymnastics was a good idea so she stayed outside with me while Miss E went in. She was sick once more but very considerately did it outside and managed to avoid her feet.
Neither of them were very impressed that I said I didn't think McDonalds was a good idea. Miss E went mad and cried and whined almost all the way home. I was so cross that she could be so unsympathetic and self centred.
Miss L fell asleep and went straight to bed on top of a towel. Hopefully it was a one off. She's done it once before in the car for no apparent reason so fingers crossed this is the same.
