The birthday boy

This is my youngest godson Alexander. He turned 9 today and I've flown to Dunedin to help celebrate it.

When you live on a block of land with big views and sky and the sun is dipping low, there is only one thing to do; put your gumboots on and run around the recently cut hair field. So that's what we did - Alexander, Sarah (goddaughter) and me.

But this was the star of the show, 9 today with a world of wonder and possibilities ahead of him.
