View From The Top

After a morning of chores we headed off to North Berwick and climbed the Law. It has been a very clear day so the views were amazing in all directions. We could see rain in the Lammermuirs, but it passed us by, and there were lots of combines in the fields below us. Last time (and indeed the first time) we climbed the Law was just after New Year.

We then headed down into the town, I had a wander round, taking shelter from a few rain drops in the shops, while the boys went to play putting. We then walked round by the beach still admiring the views to the Bass Rock, the Isle of May and over to Fife. BB and I had an ice cream. He went off for a walk round the paddling pool with TT and I went to watch the coastal rowers.

A lovely day about to be finished off with a takeaway curry.

Here is a view back in the direction of home and the Garleton Hills from North Berwick Law - you can vie everything better when large.
