Life, not as we see it.

Last day in Istanbul

So, we made it to the Blue Mosque, and queued for what seemed like an eternity but was only 20 minutes or so. As you will have seen above, Mrs. T entered into the spirit, happily donning a fetching headscarf. You may also be able to spot a wee bit of Islamic double standards: He had to cover his bare legs whilst she left us all in no doubt of her best feature! ! !
For the avoidance of doubt I have included a shot of the Hagia Sophia (yes, another spelling.) taken through the entrance arch in front of the Blue Mosque.
The remaining shot is of a blueish area of the SPECTACULAR ceiling domes of the Blue Mosque.
Sailed on the 18:30 Istanbul to Bandirma ferry, hoping for a softer bed tonight. Arrived more or less on time, doubled the number of people dining in the hotel, but enjoyed a simple meal. Can't see much of Bandirma - it's dark o'clock.

Feet, calf's & now knees are screaming for relief.

Up again at sparrow fart to catch the 7 o'clock train to Izmir. Too early for breakfast - hope the railway caters.

Buenas . . . .
