Lake Erie Bluffs and me

Just wanted to show you what a beautiful day we've enjoyed today. My friend and I drove out to Lake Erie Bluffs, which, as the name suggests, provides a lovely view of the lake. Several days ago a picture in the local paper featured the new observation deck that was recently dedicated. As you can see, the view is fantastic. I posted a few other pictures here. Here's one that shows what our Lake Erie beach is like. You're probably not going to want to walk there in your bare feet.

Thanks to everyone who helped to send my monarch (butterfly) to the spotlight page yesterday. It was such a joy to see so many of them after seeing so few butterflies all summer.
