Fluffy little chick!

To my way of thinking, this fluffy little fellow is a juvenile house finch. As always, with finches and sparrows, I could be wrong, so feel free to disagree with me. A flock of finches inhabit the large shrub that sits at the corner of the patio. They are very happy and well fed because of the proximity of their "home" to the Bird Bistro. Recently we moved a feeder closer to their corner, and they fly in and out constantly. This little one with the soft feathers was resting in the shrub where he had a good view of the Bird Bistro. Cute, isn't he? I love the way he is gripping the branch with those little pink feet.
