Rosie...

I've been reminded today that time really does fly when you're having fun.

Friend Alison came for lunch at 1pm. We haven't seen each other for a while so lots to catch up on. Served up the parsnip and apple soup with the delicious bread Alison brought (she enjoyed the soup. The jury is out as far as i'm concerned.) Followed by cheese and biscuits then coffee and cream cakes. Yum.

The blethering began and in the blink of an eye, Alison's mobile phone went and it was her son wondering where she was and what was for tea. It was almost 6pm! No idea how that happened! The afternoon just flew past!

No time to take photos today but Alison had brought lovely Rosie with her so all I managed was a quick iPhone shot of Rosie and her pleading eyes. Impossible to resist. One of the best parts of the day was Rosie sitting under the table with her wee chin resting on my knee. Made me feel all warm inside.

I WANT A DOG!

Right, better go and get dinner started. Better late than never!
