Festive

Kobe has a well established reputation as an international city and to reinforce this regularly hosts festivals and fairs. Today was all about food with stalls featuring speciality dishes from across Japan and the Far East. Great day but not so good for my waistline!

Festivals promote diversity, they bring neighbors into dialogue, they increase creativity, they offer opportunities for civic pride, they improve our general psychological well-being. In short, they make cities better places to live.
