Black & Green: Silver Fern

My last black and green shot for the week is the iconic New Zealand silver fern. Whilst they're green on the top side, flipping over their lush leaves reveals the stunning silver underside.

This wonderful fern is on my neighbour's property (Mia's 'Mum and Dad'). We went up to see them (and the dogs) this afternoon and were thoroughly entertained by their 18 month old grandson, a very willing model for a few snaps too.

This shot is another with the wonderful Fujinon 35mm f/1.4. I'm so impressed with this lens and cannot wait to use it on my forthcoming Fuji X-T1.
