Nonuts

That's right. Not donuts. That would imply there was actually something fresh for those of us who had to be at Democratic headquarters at the crack of dawn this morning for us to eat. These were left over from yesterday morning.

I'm holding out for lunchtime. I knew there was going to be leftover cold pizza (we don't have a microwave in the office) for the volunteers so I packed a thermos of hot lentil vegetable soup and a peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwich. I even brought some apple slices for a snack.

Everything is organic except the peanut butter, by the way. Have you ever tasted organic peanut butter? YUCK! I'll stick with my Jiff, thank you. After all, "Choosy mothers choose Jiff!"
