Cloudbase Zero

Due to the Orographic/Cloud/Precipitation (fog to you and me!) creeping up over the mountain and totally obliterating the gliding field and Club House this afternoon - it's a very eerie experience and comes and goes at an alarming rate, but nonetheless a very awesome sight, unless you happen to have taken off in a glider in bright sunshine, then the cloud comes creeping over the hill and you can't find your way back?? No one was caught out in this way today, but flying had to cease much earlier than precipitated - boom, boom??!!

On a serious note: at the Gliding Club we marked Remembrance Sunday in our own personal ways - and especially personal for Mr T as his father was killed in Florence 70 years ago when Mr T was only 2 yrs old.
