Hosta leaves in autumn

These leaves were really asking for attention, a bright yellow splash of colour in a somber garden. Everything does seem to change later/ stay on longer, the forest ranger yesterday also said that in his opinion the colours weren't that spectacular this year and that the leaves were three weeks later in falling. Must be the exceptionally 'warm' weather we've been having.

Thanks very much for your lovely comments on yesterday's autumn foliage in the Tervuren arboretum, I've tried finding the name of the tree with that range of colours and think it could possibly be the fraxinus americana or white ash, which usually has even redder leaves in autumn.
