Beauty on a damp day

I took Mum to Hexham Hospital this morning to have new hearing aid moulds fitted. The "system" had failed and she was not on the clinic list, but after a longish wait she was seen and the moulds seems fine.

We had lunch out in the new Refectory cafe at Hexham Abbey. What hard wooden chairs they have chosen. The food was fine.

Just before we left I grabbed this shot of the Sele Park, next to the Abbey. The old fashioned street lamps remind me of Narnia, although I'm glad to say it is not "always winter" here as it was when the children arrived there!
