Roof Top View, Christchurch City, NZ

Below are some of the old buildings of Christchurch City which I have blipped over the last week.

Directly in front to the left are the original stone court buildings.

Across the road are the stone and timber buildings of the Canterbury Provincial Council Buildings, you can read about them on 1 July 2010 (my link didn't work).

The trees outline the flow of the Avon River.

This is a view that I may not get to see again for quite a while and thought it may be interesting to see the old and some of the modern together, particularly the timber part of the Canterbury Provincial Council Buildings which are differcult to photograph from the roadside.

This was taken from the Jurors Assembly room - hopefully I won't be here for too much longer.
