Meal out in Wark

Tonight the plan was to have a meal at the Crown pub with our friends, D and J. We wanted to support the new landlord as the pub gets up and running again. Sadly the chef took ill, so there was no food for us.

Instead we went to the Battlesteads in Wark where we had lovely food in a pleasant atmosphere. The garden room extension is a great addition to the premises - light and airy.
