Gone to Seed

So quickly the flowers came, and so quickly they have gone to seed. Inspecting the garden at the Cottage today, I discovered that the shade garden, planted so recently, is already beginning to turn. I find the seeds as interesting as the flowers. Very beautiful, indeed, and hard to imagine how those little purple pedals have turned into these green little pods, each holding a seed. Such marvelous design!
