Stratford upon Avon

We come to Stratford most weekends, I love the mix of tourists from all over the world as well as Birmingham day trippers and locals like us - well we're nearly local, we live 10/12 miles away. Stratford in the sunshine on a Saturday is always packed.

Usually we have a mooch round the shops, maybe a walk down by the river and a coffee at Starbucks where we sit and people watch as well as getting a bit of time to chat to each other.

I like the way this photo looks so peaceful and quiet, even though it is just behind Shakespeare's Birthplace, which was full of hordes of tourists. It was very noisy but you don't get a hint of that in this photo.
