Sea of poppies

I was a little surprised to find I had a shot anything but a complete blur. You can see from the lean on these poppies there was quite a wind blowing.

These are yesterday's poppies today. Without a tripod it was more good luck than good management that I got this.

The weekend is ending and I'm feeling good about where I'm at with things around the house and preparations for going north. Only one day at work for me this week. I'm looking forward to it as I have just enough bits and pieces to complete to know I'll leave things taken care of.

The weather has turned (as the UK blippers would say), 'pants'. Might go and finish off a few things for tomorrow and then watch a DVD.
