Quayside Mills/North Leith Manse

Another lazy blip; just nipped out of the bone-washing dungeon and took a quick blip of my favourite building. The light was beautiful, though.
I investigated this building when it was being converted to offices. We discovered that the oldest part is the bit next to the 19th century mill on the right; that bit with the windows is probably the last remaining wall of a 15th century Tower House...the rest was built onto it gradually.

A very windy day, today. Ben came back from getting his lunchtime sandwich with a bruise on his shoulder from being blown into a lamppost!
