Snow stopped play

We were going up to the allottment today to re-peg the black plastic sheeting that had come unhinged during the last gale . (It remains pegged on its top edge.) But, as you can see, the snows back so plans were re-drawn and apart from taking photographs of birds in the garden, a small amount of dusting and an even smaller amount of ironing I've read the paper and played with photoshop elements.

A feeding frenzy this morning with four female pheasants in the garden (I didn't see the male - he usually patrols at the other side of the hedge). Plus our usual group of birds and a nuthatch and woodpecker visited before the food stocks were replenished. (They weren't too pleased by all accounts.)
