I started this to try and learn the discipline of doing something every day.

I bought a Nikon. It was like all my best Christmasses rolled into one.
Now I am using my insatiable curiosity to find out what happens if I press that button and then change that and then do this and then...
Since I started Blipping my photography got better but then it got a bit worse as I try and handle a new camera.
Meanwhile, my life got better as I found out that I have a hobby and interest in life, something outside of work-family-morework.
I've met loads of other people here who are also grappling with trying to get what they perceive out into the social-sphere for other people to look at.
Some blips, I look at them and don't 'get' them. Some make my heart beat faster. Some have me saying 'wow, come and look at this'. Blip has made me cry, has made me feel compassion, has made me laugh.
I was going to write that it has opened my eyes to other people's way of seeing but that's not true. What it's done is to let me see what other people are seeing by letting me see life through their lens and that's even more fascinating.
And it's opened my eyes to what I see. And that's pretty fascinating too.
