IMPACT strives for a world in which no one is needlessly disabled by disease, lack of knowledge or shortage of medical services.
We take medical treatment and surgery to restore sight, movement and hearing and repair cleft lip, to disadvantaged communities in Africa and Asia. We also implement straightforward and low-cost schemes to prevent needless disability.
For example, home gardening to ward off malnutrition; immunisation to protect against disease; medical and antenatal care to safeguard mothers and babies; health education to empower communities with skills and knowledge; and safe water and sanitation projects to avert the spread of disease.
