Desperately seeking

Welcome? No!

Last Monday I said that when I got a call early in the morning from The Mother it was worrying. Today the call was at 5.30 am and it WASN'T about a cockchafer. She wasn't saying anything at all. I hurried to get dressed and ran over to her house.

She hadn't known I'd answered the phone because she hadn't got her hearing aid in. Anyhow, she wouldn't let me call an on-call doctor, prefering to wait til I could phone the surgery. The outcome was that the GP called an ambulance and so she is spending the night in the Infirmary. Thankfully, not a heart attack this time, probably angina.

They always ask if she took her angina medication and she always says "No". It seems every instance is completelly different so she never recognises it for what it is. Just knows it's a very unpleasant feeling.

Also unpleasnt was #2 Daughter's confirmation that her Crumpler Bag with f badge, Lumix camera and mobile phone had NOT been handed in to Lost Property after she closed the taxi door on Friday night in Edinburgh, leaving it on the seat.

Not a good day really! Not even the weather, that was bad too.

Roll on Tuesday!
