As dusk, she falls

As dusk, she falls
You and me
Striding through the last vestiges of day
Holding back night
With each vapour-filled breath
You prance
I pace
A companionable silence ensues
I hunch against the cold
While you relish in each icy step
Then back to me you come
And, side by side
Home, we together go.

No time for photography today. Thank goodness for my prolific camellia tree. The rescue again.

I think an early to bed night might be the order of the evening. Cousteau, Pio and me. DVD and electric blanket.

Night all.
