A view from Jeanneb

At last--

--a glorious morning for a winter walk.

Shades of orange in the sky as we set off to walk through the St Ives estate at about 8.00am. This is taken looking through the trees at the entrance to the woodland as I wasn't sure how much would be still visible when we got to the top of the estate.
Clear skies, changing light and frost made this so much more enjoyable than our recent weather and even the ground under foot was a little firmer. More of this and I will be persuaded to walk early again soon.

When I got home D my neighbour who was walking with us came in for coffee and to meet Bluebell. She has 4 cats so was keen to meet her.

Then it was the chores of twelfth night, taking down the tree and the last of the decorations. Chris has boarded part of the loft so we can put the bulk of the stuff up there till next year which gives me much more room to fill the cupboard with other 'stuff'- mainly wool!
