midwife crisis

By lulubelle

all a bit fuzzy

Got away from Cork in the last of some lovely spring sunshine (I kept seeing gorgeous puddles of sunshine on the floor of the ward today, but had no chance of getting out into it). I was so ready to come home that I didn't stop and make time to daylight blip this evening.
But I came home to a very clean house (courtesy of Hubs) and a very good dinner (courtesy of step daughter.....well done to Yola, highly edible) and an open bottle of wine (courtesy of Lidl.....excellent offer on their fair trade red 4.99 per bottle and pretty good).
Lots of lively table talk about our week and then a walk down to the pier for night time blipping. We bumped into a friend on the way back through the village, so went for a swift half while she waited for her daughter to finish Zumba classes, We ended up in the pub with 4 teenage girls, sharing our cider and very happy with themselves.
Warm fuzzy glow all round, as reflected in the photographers ability. It looked fine in the view finder last night!
I'm happy to be home with a long weekend ahead and the opportunity to get out on the bike, do Yoga and a little running (probably not all on the same day but ye never know) Got the 'big' girls coming for dinner tomorrow night and then a gig at Hacketts. Hubs will be in Dublin all day tomorrow, so I've the house to myself....mmmmmm what to get up to??!!
