Marjorie's ramblings

If only flowers could sing

Here is one of the viburnum shrubs in our garden. I planted this a few year ago and this spring is its best flowering and general shape yet. I've lost the label so I can't say which viburnum it is with any certainty. It is now about 6 feet tall and fills an awkward corner of the walled garden where many plants will not grow (north and west aspects).

I love the way the buds look so waxy and shiny before they open and the flowers are brim full of pollen.

I have a cold so I've done not much today at home. Don't you hate colds? They are not serious but make you feel under the weather and sap your energy. The good news is it will be gone soon.
