On Wings of Harmony

Friday
This morning I went down to the annual Butterfly exhibit at Krohn Conservatory in Eden Park, this year entitled "On wings of harmony". I got there soon after they opened for the day, but it was already pretty crowded. I spent quite a while there, longer than I intended actually, but I found it quite mesmerizing, all these beautiful butterflies flitting around, and of course it would take a while waiting for my chance to get in close, and waiting for them to settle somewhere. You can find more pictures here. I managed to get a bit of work done before Roger came home from work early, as we were going up to Miami University for Laura's last Choraliers concert. The concert wasn't until 8 pm, but her report time was 6.30, and we were going to take her out for dinner first, and we were going to pack up some of her stuff to bring back. We will be leaving immediately after her College of Education graduation next Sunday, first of all for a few days in the Smoky Mountains, then continuing on to Houston for Jason's graduation from his Masters program the following Friday - busy, but fun times! The concert was very enjoyable and quite varied. Laura was playing flute on one of the pieces, together with several percussion instruments. Its hard to believe we'll only be going up a couple more times - where did the last 4 years go?!

Worth seeing large.
