Au revoir until next time

We packed last night and this morning we were up fairly early to head off back to Zurich to get our flight home. When we woke up there was a thick mist outside and very little visibility, but by the time we were driving down the valley towards Zurich the mist had lifted and the sun was coming out over the tops of the mountain peaks.

This is a view of the Sunniberg Bridge, an award winning bridge that leads to a tunnel through the mountain en route to Davos and beyond. I liked the soft morning light on those autumn coloured leaves.

We had an annoying journey home - a 30 minute delay at take off due to the airport being too busy, and another 30 minute delay on landing due to too much air traffic around Heathrow. And I had the most annoying child sitting behind me who kicked my seat all the way home and spoke loudly and fought with her brother while her father said nothing to shut her up!

Now a frantic turnaround of Luke's unpacking, laundry and packing again as he leaves at 8am tomorrow for his 3 month ski instructor's course in Morzine, France.
