January flame

10 days ago I photographed this Hamamellis flower in bud crusted with early morning frost.

Some winter sun this morning highlighting the wonderful flame red of this flower. The tree next to it is full of bright yellow blooms with red centres so they are looking pretty amazing at the moment.

Good to have something in bright in January!
