Spirits...

I decided to submit and entry in the MonoMonday Challenge this week.  The theme is "Spirit" and I chose this duck because birds play a significant role in Native American lore. This quote comes from a website that talks about animal spirits:  


Duck: Graceful on the water; sees clearly through emotions; spirit helper of mystics and seers.  


So, there you have it - ducks as related to the spirit world!  

Still have a scratchy throat and sniffles but not sure if it is a cold or allergies - no matter, I'm feeling a bit puny.  So, my trip out for a blip today was relatively short and involved a quick mile or so at Lake Seminole, camera in hand.  I posted four other shots, starting HERE with some angry gulls

Back home just in time - the rain started a few minutes ago and will continue intermittently the rest of the day.  Which means ... time to pack some boxes.  Oh boy...
