I could have done with some of this today to lot a fire to heart me up. I have been frozen all day, and a thumping head doesn't help. Nor does the fact that the timer on the heating still doesn't work so I came home to a freezing house, well 15 degrees, pretty cold.

That was after 2 meetings at the office, down town to see a building, a walk back to the office for lunch and then a very parky meeting at CoSLA. At least I got home by 5.30.

Now waiting for the house to heat up and trying to decide how to spend my evening.

Outside the secret garden sits the tree surgeon, chopping.
