A view from Jeanneb

A different level.

Last night I was at choir practice at our sister church in Wilsden. When we came out at 7.15 it was white over and people were making heavy work of getting up (and down) the treacherous road.

Got home to our village which is lower and there was nothing.

Had to return to Wilsden this morning to get some money to pay for my Pilates classes and the weather was again a mixture of sunshine and very wintery showers.

I stopped here on Bents Lane which is about half way between the two villages, only a mile apart, and you can see the marked difference in the weather.

The farmhouse on the right is on Wilsden Hill, a place we often walk to with good views over both villages. To the left in the slight hollow is the village of Wilsden itself.

As we say in Yorkshire, it's a coat colder up there!
