Eye on the Prize

Got invited to the 3rd birthday party of this fine young lad this evening! Aren't kids lucky these days with the cakes they get?? I think a round chocolate or vanilla sponge was as much as it got when I was growing up!

Anyway, this was the highlight of a very pleasant evening. Noah lives in London so we don't get to see him very much. His dad is my (first) cousin, and he is a spitting image of him. And after this, Noah had the most crazy time opening one incredible present after the other! We had to leave mid way because it was just too late for a week night. Wonder how he ever got to sleep knowing all that was there to check out!


And as I said last year about the significance of the date today... it seems more special this year as the Cricket World Cup is on again in Australia! Shame Pakistan and England are out.
