Whizzing past

I arrived early for my early morning meeting on Oxford Rd, deliberately as I need more exercise so decided on an early morning walk in the sunshine.

I walked down Oxford Rd to the RNCM to pick up a summer brochure, had a look at the Graphene Institute under construction, and called in at the Aquatics Centre to check out times as I fancy trying a 50m pool (muslim ladies were arriving for the women ony session).

I took a few photos along the way, and of those taken liked this one of the MMU building by the Mancunian Way. The alternative I could have chosen was the concrete core of the new student accommodation tower going up alongside Cholton Mill - the red crane is reflected in the mirror glass of the MMU building.
