Sailing in.

The usual Thursday morning walk culminated at Coppice Pond. A lovely sunny start to the day for a change and coming straight out of the sun in full 'sail' was our now familiar Young swan.

I thought he was looking particularly magnificent so decided to use,this shot despite the fact that Wilsden Walker has posted the same shot.

He still has some of the dark feathers of a cygnet but he is certainly more confident than when he first arrived last autumn and was putting a few of the Canada Geese in their place today!
