On top of the world

From the Peak to the Hong Kong Observation Wheel. GadgetKid and G reckon it should be called HKEye! I agree.

Today has been a lovely day, despite my lovely husband not being here. My friends took me out to town to celebrate my birthday. First stop, HKEye, where I thought this view of the horse show, Cavalia, was rather special. Really enjoyed being up there with them. What fun.

Then they took me to lunch at a restaurant I had never been to, it was lovely and we were impressed with it.

Then a quick broggle through some shops before heading back to DB. I had to make a whole load of icing for the cupcakes and cakes for tomorrow's school fair and cake sale.

The boys took me out to dinner to the Spanish restaurant in DB which we had never been to before either. We quite liked it :)

There is much to be grateful for and I've enjoyed today immensely. Weather was perfect, appreciating my loving family and kind and generous friends, here and all over the world, so thankful for what He has blessed me with.
