Capital adventures

Station view

A day off, well most of a day.  But I did do a wee bit work first thing, tying off a few loose ends.  Then to town.  I got shoes reheeled, bought some clothes, bought a present and captured this shot of Waverley.  I'll be down there tomorrow. I was going to have lunch out but the sun was still shining and the lure of the garden was stronger. And it was warm, very warm sitting outside. I was listening to a book, not reading one, today. I dotted about a bit  as well as just sat and sunned myself.

Then off to a hustings with #3 son.  It was at Napier and was on housing.  A bit stage managed with set questions and no questions about SAR, or sanctions, or the PRS.  Unsurpisiing as it was oragnised by the SFHA so the main focus was social housing.  Confirmation of my postal vote came through today so I will be able to cast it before I go off, 2 weeks tomorrow!

Took #3 son for a late meal and then 2 buses home.  We discussed politics, the right to buy and Trident. the first inescapable, the second pure daft and the third unnecessary and redundant.

I did a lot of wrapping in bubble wrap today - all ready for tomorrow's jaunt north.
