Fountain in Forsyth Park

We arrived in Savannah around 1:00,  checked into the hotel, then drove to the the historic district where we walked around for a couple of hours looking at all the beautiful houses & the huge old trees draped with spanish moss. This fountain is in the center of Forsyth Park, were people were strolling around,  and a young man was playing lovely music on a violin. When we pulled into the parking lot we spied a couple of blippers walking along--thank goodness for the blip where everyone was "holding hands", as I recognized most people right away. We all met, & we were all treated to a slide presentation of photos that Maura took on her trip to Africa.....they were really amazing & it was so interesting to hear all about it! The whole group of us went out to dinner, & tomorrow morning----a trip to the wildlife refuge.
