A walk along the coast path

What a lovely sunny afternoon for a long walk along the coast path.

First we had to walk through a field of cows.  Sometimes I chase cows and sometimes I don’t.  And we don’t know what Ozzy, my very gorgeous golden retriever boyfriend, does when he sees cows.  So as a ‘precaution’ we both got put back on our leads.  But do you know what? ..................We both walked perfectly past the cows and didn’t even do one tiny little pull on our leads.  Ann was very pleased with us and we both got loads of cuddles & praise.

But then do you know what happened?  Ozzy kept stopping to eat cow poo???  Just how gross is that?  I never, ever eat cow poo!  Ann went mad at him.  She said, ‘Ozzy, that’s a disgusting thing to eat.’  And she tried to pull him away by his collar, but Ozzy’s a pretty strong boy so he was able to eat quite a lot before Ann managed to get him away from it.  So then Ann said, ‘Ozzy, if you’re sick tonight all over my rug you’ll be in big trouble.’  Ha, ha, Ozzy has been such a goody two shoes during his stay that I’d quite like to see him get into trouble.

And then we reached the coast path and had a lovely long walk.  Don’t you think the sea and the sky look a wonderful shade of blue?  We never get tired of the fabulous views along the coast path.

Anyway it was so hot this afternoon that just before we got back to St Ives, Ann said, ‘Molly, would you like to go for a swim in the 'secret rock pool' to cool down before we go home?’  The secret rock pool is fabulous.  It’s like my very own private swimming pool.

So we had a swim and when we got home we both had a little snooze on our very sunny sun terrace so that we could dry off.

Ozzy is only going to be here for one more day.  ..............................I’m really going to miss him when he goes home.

PS – Ozzy is showing no signs of being sick yet?????
