The accidental finding

Laburnum time

...not forgetting the clematis montana over the gate, too. This is someone's back yard next to Piccadilly Mill, off Stroud's Lower Street. The mill is now used for artists' studios. I'd love to have one for writing.

Fridays at work are hectic. The mixture of children in nursery every day is different, and some days are more full-on than others. However, I was able to leave at 1.30, catch the bus home and get set up for a couple of massage clients. Work was finished by 5.20, but Steve went out to a meeting about art in the town. After eating (sea bass and new potatoes) we just sat around watching mindless TV because it was Friday, the end of a ten-day week...I'd love to be twenty again (but not the same as last time round). Youth is wasted on the young.
