War memorial in Badia

Aggie and I had a quieter day today while everyone else went walking. I took the bus to Brunico which is about 45 mins away. It's a sizeable town with a lot of rather smart shops.

I came back after lunch and visited the church in Badia. It's impressive to say the least. My blip is a detail from one of the war memorials in the porch. The photos of all the young men who died are arranged around a scene with angels.

Only one day to go so we are beginning to talk about the early morning transport for Thursday.....
