TINY TUESDAY : SHORT HAIRED BUMBLE BEE

In all winds and weathers, bumble bees seem to be flying and today was no exception - it was dull and quite windy in the garden, but I wanted to take part in the challenge, so I was out there too.

This short haired bumble bee was on the blackberry flower and as you can see is holding on with its two front legs.

There are times when we need to hold on "for dear life" and I am sure that is true today for those who witnessed the London bombings and are still living with those dreadful memories.

I read today that the Greek driver of the bus involved, when he saw the devastation, and even though he could speak good English, could only utter in his native tongue Kyrie Eleison  - "Lord have mercy."

Today, on the 10th Anniversary, we remember the 700 people who were injured, the 52 who were killed, and especially their families and friends, as they seek to come to terms with this senseless act of violence.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness;
     only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate;
     only love can do that.
Martin Luther King, Jnr.
