Prayer wheels, Erdene Zuu Monastery

Almost didn't manage to shoot this - we arrived at the Erdene Zuu Monastery and the Nikon users in the party were stopped as we had "professional cameras" After some heated discussions with the local guide and the officials at the monastery, it seemed we could continue photographing. It all seemed a bit odd, as there were plenty of "large white lenses" around on other cameras, with no restrictions on them.

So we got on with it, and I think the official turned a blind eye.

The prayer wheels are turned by people as they walk past, the sight of spinning wheels are amazing.

Extras: The Stupa at Erdene Zuu, and a motorbike driving over the desert - I loved the dust cloud thrown up.
